For the chicken –

500g chicken wings

1 teaspoon of garlic powder

1 teaspoon of ground ginger

1 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of black pepper

For the coating –

½ cup of flour

2 eggs

For the sauce –

¼ cup hot sauce

3 teaspoons of lime juice

1 tablespoon of soy sauce

1/3 cup honey

½ teaspoon of Chinese spices

5 tablespoons of butter

1 teaspoon of sesame oil


Add the garlic powder, black pepper, salt and ginger powder to the chicken wings and coat well. Beat the eggs and coat the chicken wings first with flour, then eggs, then flour again. Fry them in hot oil until golden and crispy.

300g asparagus

2 tablespoons of olive oil

2 cloves garlic

2 tablespoons of butter


Cut the carrots and asparagus lengthwise into sticks and mix them with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, black pepper, salt, grated garlic and sweet paprika. Let them roast in a preheated oven at 160 ° C for 30-40 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking.

For the cake –

4 eggs

¾ cup of orange juice

¼ cup of honey

The zest of an orange

1½ cup flour

1 teaspoon of baking powder

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

For the icing –

1 cup of orange juice

4 tablespoons of sugar


Beat the eggs at high speed until they triple in size, then pour in the oil. Then add the juice and zest of an orange as well as the honey and vanilla extract. Sift the flour and baking powder and reduce the speed of the mixer to minimum, so as to incorporate the flour mixture.

Finally, scrape the bowl with a spatula and make sure everything is well incorporated and smooth. Pour the dough into a lined gratin dish and bake in a preheated oven at 160 ° C for 40 minutes. To test, insert a skewer and check if it comes out clean, if so, it is ready.

For the icing, bring the orange juice and sugar to a boil and add the sliced ​​oranges. Let the oranges boil in their juice for 10-15 minutes and remove them. Reduce the orange juice mixture for five more minutes until it is thick and shiny. Pour over cake and garnish with sliced ​​oranges.
