MBW Coffee and Bakery Products Now Sold at Island Grind VI at Cyril E. King Airport
Island Grind VI opened its St. Thomas airport location in March and prides itself on showcasing the talent of local chefs and restaurants while providing tasty and healthy food (including vegan options) to locals and to tourists taking off from Cyril E. King Airport.
Asked about the decision to use MBW Cafe and Bakery as one of its baked goods suppliers, Pash Daswani, owner of Island Grind VI said, “For us, MBW and their team were an easy choice. Firstly, they are a local non-profit organization – which we have been supporting for a long time – and secondly, the help they continually provide to young men and women is an incredible story. We know how much they have helped young adults with disabilities and at risk. Having a disabled son (cerebral palsy) made the decision even easier.
Chef Julius Jackson, Manager of the MBW Cafe and Bakery, said, “The support and consistency that Island Grind VI orders bring to our program and our trainees is tremendous. While fulfilling baked goods orders from start to finish, including packaging, our interns receive on-the-job training as well as our comprehensive consulting, mentoring, education and ultimately placement.

My Brother’s Workshop is a non-profit Virgin Islands charity. It was organized to give hope, faith and purpose to at-risk and high-risk youth in USVI by providing mentorship, mental health counselling, paid job training, education and job placement .
