New Dayton family restaurant serving farm-to-table recipes

DAYTON, Va. (WHSV) – Brandon and Belinda Koteita had dreamed of opening a cafe-style restaurant for years, and now they’re Dayton’s new venture.

Harvest Table serves items like pastries, coffee, and breakfast sandwiches, as well as lunch items like a brisket sandwich and nachos.

The Koteitas say these recipes emphasize local ingredients while providing a family atmosphere.

“All the meats so many produce and things like that we can just source locally and the coffee our coffee is local locally roasted and the milk our milk is also local so we source as much locally as possible to support the community around from us,” Belinda Koteita said.

Belinda grew up in Rockingham County, while Blake is originally from Southern California, and the couple say the menu items at Harvest Table have a combined personal touch.

“Laguna’s nachos, I asked her to marry me in Laguna, and then it was kind of, nachos became our evening meal, so we’d go out and share nachos, so we called it the Laguna’s Nachos,” Blake Koteita said.

Harvest Table also offers dining options with its restaurant menu.

They are located at 3092 John Wayland Highway and are open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
