Snoop Dogg has launched his own line of pet products, where the West Coast rap mogul will sell stylish clothes, toys and other dog accessories.
As for the name of Snoop’s latest venture, that’s a bit on the nose, as the partnership with Little Earth Productions, Inc. will be called Snoop Doggie Doggs. Everything from hoodies, pajamas, gym shirts, leashes, plush toys and more will be available at Amazon for those looking to dress up their canine companion.
The clothing designs, which include a dog baseball cap with Snoop’s unique braids, will also feature catchy phrases such as “Throw a Dogg a Bone”.
“If my dogs aren’t fresh, I’m not fresh. These dogs and their clothes are a reflection of Tha Dogg himself, so they must play the role of a Top Dog, you dig?!? ! Snoop Dogg said in a statement. He also posted a hilarious teaser trailer on Instagram to unveil the new line.
Snoop Doggie Doggs is just the latest business venture the rap legend has attached his name to in 2022. Snoop has mostly dabbled in food, and in September announced plans to open a restaurant with Gordon Ramsay.
“I’ve been talking with my boy Gordon for a while about opening a restaurant together – but the pandemic has slowed things down,” Snoop said in an interview with The mirroradding: “I met my boy Gordon and he taught me a few things.”
Besides being three seasons in its Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Challenge tv show on VH1Tha Doggfather too unveiled its Snoop Loopz cereal back in August.
The cereal, which will exist under the Broadus Foods umbrella, will be added to the rapper’s offering new breakfast line, which also includes oatmeal, oatmeal, pancake mix and syrup which all supports charities such as Door of Hope.
Snoop also fed his fans a ton of new music this year. He recently filed his Gangsta Grillz mitape I still have it, with DJ Drama in October.
Before that, he celebrated his return to Death Row Records (which he now owns) with the aptly titled 19th studio album Bac on death row, which featured appearances from Nas, TI, The Game, DaBaby, Wiz Khalifa and more. Snoop announced last month that a new album with Dr Dre is currently under construction.
The 51-year-old could soon be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, with the 54th Annual Induction and Awards Gala taking place on June 15, 2023 in New York City. Snoop was nominated in the singer-songwriter category alongside Blondie, REM and Patti Smith.
