Tageos launched its latest RAIN RFID ( UHF ) products optimized for specific application areas, including the compact, high-performance EOS-232 U8 on-metal solution; and the EOS-450 M730, which combines versatility and cutting-edge performance for typical use cases in the food industry, and especially in QSRs (Quick Service Restaurants).

The new RAIN RFID product is equipped with NXP’s UCODE 8 IC, which features self-tuning capability, product status indicator for Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) applications, pre-serialized 96 – bit CPE and a brand identifier.

EOS-232 U8 inlays comply with frequency standard and are available in dry and plastic-faced PP (polypropylene) formats in large quantities now.

The EOS-450 M730, the next new product from Tageos, features a less unusual construction, but an equally well-defined customer and application benefit. Based on an antenna design targeted to the ARC Z specification, the EOS-450 M730 inlays are primarily intended for applications related to the fast food and catering industry. The QSR industry has only just begun to adopt RFID technology on a large scale, especially for inventory management and ingredient tracking.

Other areas of application include the retail, logistics and industrial segments, where the overlay is ideal for inventory visibility and item-level tagging. The new product combines a moderate size (72 x 10 mm) with robust performance on a wide range of surfaces.

The EOS-450 M730 inlays are equipped with Impinj M730 chips that come with 128-bit EPC memory and offer high performance, fast inventory capability and advanced features for next-generation universal RAIN RFID inlays. They comply with global frequency standards and are available now in dry, wet and paper delivery formats in large quantities.

First featured at RFID Journal Live!, Tageos is now expanding its highly durable Zero Max product line with the new EOS-241 U9 Zero Max ETSI inlay.
